Giving Back This Holiday Season

Posted by HTP on Dec 1, 2017 11:00:00 AM

It's that time of year where giving to the less fortunate is top of mind. Every year we partner with a local charity to help those in need and really appreciate the participation of both our employees and the community.

This year HTP will be collecting NEW or GENTLY USED clothing for United Way of Greater New Bedford. We have a designated bin set up in the lobby of our corporate offices in New Bedford and will be accepting donations through December 22nd.

Come on down and show support for those who are less fortunate.

Hurricane Affected Water Heaters

Posted by HTP on Sep 25, 2017 1:00:00 PM

HTP sends our deepest sympathies and thoughts to those who were affected by the devastating impact of the recent hurricanes. While many states begin to rebuild and repair, it is crucial now, more than ever, to keep in mind the importance of safety and how dangerous a water heater exposed to flood water can be.

All homeowners and business owners who have experienced flood damage are STRONGLY advised to take the necessary steps to replace their heating systems according to the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Regardless of attempts to clean the unit or the way the unit operates prior to the flooding it MUST be replaced as bigger, more dangerous issues can arise further down the road.

For the full list of tips on handling all heating and cooling systems please visit the AHRI website, or click here

Tankless Water Heaters (commonly referred to as on-demand or instantaneous water heaters) provide hot water when needed versus traditional tank type water heaters, which store the hot water. A major benefit to using a tankless water heater is that it doesn’t produce the energy losses associated with tank type water heaters. The result is increased efficiencies and cost savings.
