You’ll want to consider if your family is *low demand* or *high demand*. Your family is considered high demand if: - There are more than two full baths in the home. - If you find your family is running out of hot water too quickly. - If you have an oversize jacuzzi bath or other large tub. As a rule of thumb, the water heater tank capacity should be 100% or more of the bathtub capacity (example: 75-gallon tub/80-gallon water heater).
