# National Renewal Day - A Time To Save Energy!

May 4th is National Renewal Day. Typically this day is recognized as a chance to begin something new or renew something old. At HTP, we want to remind you that renewing energy is important! Check out our solar line including [solar water heaters](http://www.htproducts.com/superstorsolar.html), [tanks](http://www.htproducts.com/solardrainbacktank.html), and [collectors](http://www.htproducts.com/solar-flatpanelcollectors.html)! We also provide a solar tax rebate on our [website](http://www.htproducts.com/tax-rebates.html).

HTP's [Flat Plate Panel Solar Collectors](http://www.htproducts.com/solar-flatpanelcollectors.html) harness the power of the sun to provide energy for hydronic systems while reducing utility costs and pollution. They are coated with a selective material to enhance solar energy absorption and are placed on fiberglass insulation. They are encased in a weather resistant frame and topped with glass for increased efficiency. Quality construction and smart design ensure that HTP’s Flat Plate Panels meet the highest standards for reliability, heat output, and return on investment.

The [SuperStor Solar Water Heater](http://www.htproducts.com/superstorsolar.html) harnesses the power of the sun to provide ample hot water while reducing energy costs and pollution. The SuperStor Solar Water Heater features a high performance cupronickel heat exchanger for maximum heat transfer from solar collectors. If the sun is not providing enough solar energy to meet the hot water demand, the backup system takes over seamlessly. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, the SuperStor Solar sets the standard for superior performance and longevity.

HTP's [Solar Drain Back Tank](http://www.htproducts.com/solardrainbacktank.html) is designed to stabilize and protect solar thermal systems. A drain back tank allows all the water from solar collectors and related piping connections to drain into the tank reservoir, protecting the system from both freezing and overheating. Drain back tanks are ideal when designing solar thermal systems, especially in climates that exhibit very hot or cold temperatures.
